Manila-Makati Wedding: CityState Tower Hotel - St. John Bosco Church - CityState Tower Hotel

Ms. Cathy
Nov 23, 2013
Hotel: CityState Tower Hotel
Church: St. John Bosco Church Makati
Reception: CityState Tower Hotel

Ms. Cathy was the first one who requested to visit us in Makati and booked us on the same day. It was refreshing to see a bride-to-be before she's all glammed up for her big day. We had a small chat and answered all her questions. She is one client who we felt truly welcomed us and treated us as friends who are there to assist her in her wedding day.

CityState Tower Hotel is in Manila and hotel entrance is along a busy street. It has a spacious enough lobby for pictorials. Parking is around the hotel, not as big as we had hoped. The attendants and security officers were courteous and kind to direct us to a spot near the main entrance where the bride would come out.

St. John Bosco Church is in Makati. It is quite a distance to CityState Tower, it being a 30 minute-car drive. St. John Bosco Church has ample parking space for guests and a dedicated driveway for bridal cars where Ms. Cathy waited for her cue to her grand entrance. St. John Bosco Church has sliding doors and to keep the mystery, white curtains were placed to hide the view outside, concealing the pretty bride.

Reception is back at CityState Tower Hotel where Ms. Cathy had her wedding preps.

Manila Wedding: Bayview Park Hotel -> Malate Church -> Ramon Magsaysay Hall

Ms. Mariam
Nov 15, 2013
Hotel: Bayview Park Hotel
Church: Our Lady of Remedies Malate Church
Reception:  Ramon Magsaysay Hall

Ms. Mariam inquired us thru email. She sent us her bridal route, paid for her reservation fee and trusted us wholeheartedly to pick her up on her wedding day. We came early and was able to have a little chitchat with her wedding coordinator, Ms. Mary Grace of MGREventServices, while we were mounting the bouquet onto the car. She was nice and very friendly. I think she also did the hosting of Ms. Mariam's reception program, talk about having lots of talent! :)

Going to Bayview Hotel is a little crowded because their entrance is along a busy street. Parking is in front of the hotel though so we did not have a problem looking for a spot. There are also a lot of paid street parking. Bayview Hotel is also facing Roxas Boulevard and has a nice exposure to the afternoon sunlight.

It took us less than 10 minutes to bring Ms. Mariam from Bayview Hotel to Malate Church and that includes the traffic in Manila on a Friday afternoon. Parking space is huge at Malate Church. There is also an in-house reception area but Ms. Mariam and her groom did not avail it. The entrance of Malate Church where the bride will start her walk down the aisle is along a busy street, so watch out for vehicles when having pictorials after the ceremony. The big wooden door that all brides love to have is a nice sight to behold. The church becomes alive and so pretty and charming when there's a wedding because all lights are turned on and the magnificience of the altar is very well seen. It's a lovely Church to have your wedding.

After the wedding, the couple requested to have a stopover at Baywalk in Roxas Boulevard for pictorials. The couple looked so cute having their photo taken in the middle of the road. It is also suprising to note that vehicles stopped and allowed the newlyweds to strike a pose and give their best look amidst the busy-ness of the city. I guess people, young and old, appreciate watching a love story unfold. There were a lot of pictures taken and we especially love their photo with the sunset as their backdrop.
How romantic!

The couple hurried back to the bridal car to get ready for their reception. Ramon Magsaysay Hall is in front of Diamond Hotel and appears to be a great place to hold a large banquet. The bride was fetched by her bridesmaids and they had her prepped up inside the car. When the bridal party had left, pretty petals surrounded the back area of the car. It's as if merry fairies had come and showered love blessings to the people who used to sit there.
